National Library Week
Did you know that it is National Library Week this week? Well, it is. My kids LOVE to go to the library, and we are a family of readers. We love books at our home. I created this set of printable bookmarks, and for the month of April, you can snag them for FREE! (For Freeeeeeeeee! . . . . Bedtime Stories, anyone? . . . oh, nevermind LOL). Just click on the preview to go to ScrapMatters where you can get these bookmarks.

Kid Valentines
**Note: Click here for an updated Valentine Pencil post.**
These are the Valentine's my two youngest took to school for their friends. I like them because I got to put cute robots and ballet shoes on them, but they still got to pick out their favorite cartoon store-bought valentines to go inside! :)
We also made these cute pencil valentines for the kids to give their teachers. They're made out of a package of Rolos and a Hershey's kiss.
Update: Due to several requests, I have posted directions for these pencils on my blog. That post can be found by clicking here.
The templates for the boxes can be found at ScrapMatters (images are linked):

I've also started to delve into digital designing and have released my first kit at SM:
Stay tuned . . . I'm hoping to get some more Valentine ideas up here in the next couple of days!

More ideas for Valentine's Day
Here are a couple more fun, little boxes that would be really quick and easy to put together. They would make great personalized packaging for a small gift!
For You Heart bag:
Fry boxes (As seen in the June 2009 issue of Creating Keepsakes.):
The templates for both of these can be found in my store at ScrapMatters (images below are linked):
